The UFC doesn't offer refunds. Card subject to change. But I'm quite sure the UFC 149 card changing as much as it has breached some measure of integrity and honesty with it's fans.
But no one is talking about it.
I've posted about UFC 149 before. It's +4 million gate. It's sold out show that no one in Calgary wants to attend. The UFC has done a poor job of replacing the fights we all bought tickets for. Injuries happen, but I squarely blame the UFC's overzealous and irresponsible scheduling of 7 shows over 7 weeks as the reason why the card has become so poor.
I know I've previously thought of MMA events from a PPV/ratings stand point. If I'm not interested in the card, I won't watch it. But between me and a handful of people I know, we've paid $4000 dollars for something that we had no interest in seeing. The Calgary at large has paid millions of dollars to see a card that no longer resembles what they've paid for.
