UFC 150 is slowly filling up, and another fight has been booked for the August 11th PPV, with bantamweights Ken Stone and Erik Perez squaring off on the evening's preliminary card. The fight was confirmed through the UFC Latino Twitter account:
Which roughly translates to "Confirmation that the 2nd fight for Erik Perez in the UFC will be UFC 150 against Ken Stone." The UFC website also made the announcement on their fight card update page.
Stone had a rough start to his Zuffa career, losing via slam KO in his WEC debut against Eddie Wineland in the organization's final event, and then losing to Scott Jorgensen in his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale in a first-round KO. But he has since rebounded, picking up two wins against Donny Walker last September and Dustin Pague at UFC on FX 4 last month.
Mexican native "Goyito" Perez is a Jackson's MMA fighter riding a six-fight winning streak, the latest came in his UFC debut against John Albert at The Utimate Fighter Live Finale on June 1st. The finish was highly controversial as Perez had locked in an armbar on Albert, but referee Kim Winslow stopped the fight even though it appeared Albert neither tapped out nor verbally submitted.
