According to FightHubTV, Georges St-Pierre is close to returning to his boxing training with world renown trainer, Freddie Roach. St-Pierre has been out of action since April 30th, 2011. He suffered a knee injury and withdrew from a fight against Carlos Condit at UFC 137 in October 2011. Then when preparing for a title defense against Nick Diaz at UFC 143 in February, St-Pierre again re-injured his knee, attempted to compensate with his other knee, and tore his ACL as a result and needed surgery.

"Georges will be at The Wild Card next week. He will be working a bit of boxing and moving around, I know he has been moving around, been kicking a bit. Nothing too forceful." said Roach

St-Pierre will be resume training with Roach in preparation for a title defense against Carlos Condit, likely at UFC 154 in Montreal on November 17th.
