UFC signs veteran Josh Neer to a 4 fight contract

As per MMA Junkie:

The 29-year-old welterweight has signed a new four-fight deal with the organization, his manager, Mickey Dubberly of KO Dynasty, told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).

It blows my mind that Neer is only 29 years old, as it seems like he has been fighting forever. To give people an idea of how long he has been on the MMA scene, Neer fought Drew Fickett at the very first UFC Fight Night on Spike TV back in 2005, and he had already compiled a 13-1-1 record in MMA. Currently on his 4th tour with the UFC, Neer recently had a 6 fight win streak snapped by Mike Pyle last month at UFC on FX 3 when he lost via 1st round KO. Neer is rarely in a dull fight and holds wins over Melvin Gullard, Din Thomas and Duane Ludwig. His only loses in the last two years have come at the hands of the aforementioned Pyle, as well as former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez.
