MMA Junkie reports that the lightweight bout between Thiago Tavares and Dennis Hallman originally planned for UFC 150 this August in Denver, Colorado has now been moved to UFC 151 in Las Vegas this September. No reason for the change has been noted, but this is yet another decent fight that UFC 150 has now lost, and the card looks weaker and weaker as it gets closer, and will likely be carried by the main event where Benson Henderson rematches Frankie Edgar after their fight at UFC 144 in Japan.

It is unknown whether the fight will be on the main card or prelims, but thankfully neither fighter had to pull out. Hallman is coming off of an early submission win over John "the Bull" Makdessi at UFC 140 but missed weight after dropping down from welterweight. Tavares comes in with a two fight win streak including an impressive decision win over Sam Stout at UFC 142 and a second round TKO over Spencer Fisher at UFC 134, both of which were in Brazil.

UFC 151 is to be headlined by Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson for the light heavyweight title, and three other bouts have been officially announced for the event.
