Tonight's UFC on Fuel 4 main event between Chris Weidman and Mark Munoz was, for lack of a better term, a blowout. The undefeated Weidman completely dominated Munoz, taking him down and coming close to submitting him in the first round before landing a beautiful elbow that led to a knockout victory in the second round. SBN coverage of UFC on FUEL TV 4: Munoz vs. Weidman
Mark Munoz vs. Chris Weidman - Round 1 - Weidman with a very nice takedown and he's right into side control. Munoz is able to stand but eats a big knee by Weidman and drops back down so he can get three points on the ground. Weidman uses a guillotine, gives it up and starts landing some hard elbows. Weidman now looking for a kimura. Weidman looked for the guillotine again and gave it up when it wasn't there. Full mount by Weidman now. Munoz escaped but Weidman keeps him stuck on the ground. 10-9 Weidman
Round 2 - Weidman with a huge elbow on the feet that drops Munoz and he follows up with violent ground and pound. The ref lets the fight continue for FAR too long but it's finally over. Chris Weidman wins by TKO (elbow, punches), round 2. What an amazing performance by Chris Weidman, he proved he is 100% for real. Mark Munoz is legit, and Weidman just destroyed him.
