Francis Carmont defeated Karlos Vemola by submission (rear naked choke) at 1:39 of round 2

Karlos Vemola and Francis Carmont sure came to scrap, but it was the French fighter that came out on top. After a first round full of failed guillotines and nice escapes, Carmont dragged Vemola to the ground with a crucifix locked up and choked him out. The finish came at 1:39 of the second.

Vemola used a couple of leg kicks to set up an awkward shot early, but was sluffed off by Carmont. Vemola got a body lock and dragged him down though. Carmont got up, but put himself right into a guillotine. Vemola dropped to his back, but Carmont slipped out against the cage. Carmont advanced to mount looking for an armlock, but Vemola fought it off and got back to guard, then back to his feet. Carmont shot in again, right into another guillotine. It looked dangerous, but Carmont held on and ended the round on top.

Vemola ate a monster front kick to the jaw to start the second and went right in for a takedown. Carmont looked for a kimura, then a guillotine, but Vemola escaped both. Carmont fell backwards with a sitdown kimura, and had a sick crucifix locked up, and choked Vemola out. Crazy finish.
