Strikeforce women's champion Ronda Rousey is featured on the cover of ESPN The Magazine's "Body Issue" which hits newsstands July 13th. Rousey is one of 27 athletes featured in the magazine's online photo gallery which is online now.
Previous MMA fighters featured in the issue include UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones, Gina Carano, and Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos and his wife Cristiane "Cyrborg" Santos.
Rousey won the Strikeforce title in March of this year by beating Meisha Tate by first round armbar submission. She is scheduled to defend her title against Sarah Kaufman at Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman on August 18 in San Diego. The bout will air on Showtime.
Rousey was an Olympic bronze medal winner in Judo at the 2008 Olympics. She is easily the highest profile fighter currently in Strikeforce.
After the jump we've got a 1:45 behind the scenes of Rousey working with photographer Peggy Sirota to do the photo shoot.
