It's not 100% official yet, but it seems like the top two heavyweights in the world will be facing off once again in Toronto on September 22nd. UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos will defend his belt for the second time against former champion Cain Velasquez. After the UFC on FX 3 post-fight press conference tonight, UFC president Dana White was quizzed about all sorts of fights in a media scrum and this was one of them. And he made it clear that the bout will probably take place in Canada.
The card has a likely co-main event as well already. Canadian welterweight prospect Rory MacDonald called out future Hall of Famer B.J. Penn earlier this week, and Penn has apparently accepted the bout.
The Toronto card is expected to take place in the Air Canada Center, but no location has been officially announced as of yet.
