UFC On FX 3 Results: Sean Pierson, Henry Martinez Pick Up Wins In Prelim Fights

Those UFC fans who fired up the UFC's official Facebook page to watch the two preliminary fights streamed live on the globe-conquering, IPO fizzling social network were treated to two lackluster bouts that went to decisions. Sean Pierson edged Jake Hecht in a Welterweight bout and Henry Martinez did the same to Bernardo Magalhaes in a Lightweight bout.

UFC on FX 3 Results: Sean Pierson def. Jake Hecht by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Henry Martinez def. Bernardo Magalhaes by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28 x2).

Pierson entered the bout entered the bout on a two-fight losing streak after winning his UFC debut over Matt Riddle. Hecht was 1-1 in the UFC coming into tonight's fight, picking up a win over Rich Attonito in his debut but falling to T.J. Waldburger in his sophomore effort. Martinez made his UFC debut as a late replacement in a different weight class (welterweight) and looked very good despite dropping a split decision to Matt Riddle at UFC 143. Magalhaes lost his UFC debut via decision to Tim Means at UFC on Fuel 1 in February.
