MMA veteran Jeff Monson recently stopped by in Germany to hold some seminars and to attend German MMA event Kombat Komplett 6. The guys from GnP-TV took the chance to have a word with "The Snowman".
Monson talked about his childhood in Germany, his loss to Fedor Emelianenko, how to beat Daniel Cormier, going to jail for political activism and his future plans, which also include a potential UFC return.
"If I go to the UFC, it will be at 205. I'm really happy with M-1, because they're treating me very well and I have a lot of fans in Russia. I'm happy where I'm at right now, but being on the big stage is always a goal."
Known for his anarchist views and affiliations, Monson had to serve three months in jail for spray painting the anarchy symbol onto a building.
"I don't have any regrets. I almost felt guilty when I was protesting and I've never been arrested before. But now I have."
How are the odds of Monson returning to the UFC? What does BloodyElbow think about his political point of view?
