The UFC has added three bouts to the quickly-growing UFC 150 card in Denver on August 11th. One features a former lightweight fighter making his featherweight debut, another features a TUF finalist, and the third we reported on over a month ago. UFC.com has the info:
Two go-anywhere fighters will test their skills in a featherweight battle as Nik Lentz takes on Japan's Eiji Mitsuoka
Also at featherweight, TUF finalist and featherweight Dennis Bermudez -- fresh off a decisive victory marked by a number of slams -- is jumping right back into action, this time against submission specialist Tom Hayden in Denver.
Fans in Colorado will also see a middleweight bout between Judo specialist Michael Kuiper and durable striker Jared "The Messenger" Hamman.
Verbal agreements are in for all three bouts.
Lentz (21-5-2, 1 NC) had gone winless in his last three bouts at lightweight and decided to make the drop to 145. Mitsuoka (18-8-2) dropped his only UFC bout to Takanori Gomi at UFC 144. Bermudez (11-3), who is coming off a very impressive win over Pablo Garza at UFC on Fox 3, will meet Hayden (8-1), who was submitted by Fabricio Camoes in his only UFC bout.
All three bouts are expected to take place on the preliminary card.
