By now, Edson Barboza's crazy knockout of Terry Etim in the third round of their UFC 142 bout is etched in the memory of MMA fans. Now, the mainstream sports world will get a good look at it as well. The play has been nominated for "Best Play" At this year's ESPY awards, which air on ESPN on July 11th.

Voting is now open online, and you can vote here. It closes on Tuesday. If Barboza advances, the round of eight will be voted upon from July 3-9. The semi-finals get just 24 hours of voting on July 9th.

The categories are voted upon bracket-style, with Barboza facing off with Louis Oosthuizen's double-eagle (or albatross) at the Masters earlier this year.

Barboza's third-round wheel kick knockout of Etim won him a knockout of the night bonus, as well as another fight of the night bonus. That added up to $130,000 for the Brazilian.

Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and Kyle Maynard are also up for awards.
