India's pioneer MMA promotion, Super Fight League has announced that UFC Heavyweight veterans Jeff Monson and Todd Duffee will meet at Super Fight League 4 on September 8 in Bangalore, India per Twitter.
Monson once challenged Tim Sylvia for the UFC title. He most recently picked up a win over Denis Komkin at M-1 Global. Monson is 3-0-1 since losing to Fedor Emelianenko last fall. Monson is known for his radical "anarchist" politics and has been featured in Rolling Stone.
Duffee owns the record for the fastest Heavyweight KO in UFC history when he KO'd Tim Hague in 7 seconds at UFC 102. Unfortunately that was his last win until he TKO'd Neil Grove at Super Fight League 2. In the interim he lost by KO to Mike Russow, got cut from the UFC, lost to Alistair Overeem on NYE 2010 and then went a year without fighting.
The card will also feature Satoshi Ishii against Jimmy Armbriz.
