It's Showtime: How To Watch, Fight Card, Live Stream Details

This weekend marks a break in big time MMA action, which means it's the perfect opportunity to check out some kickboxing. Top European promotion It's Showtimeis in action on Saturday with a huge card coming out of Belgium.

The show starts at 6 p.m. local time, which translates to 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT.

This It's Showtime event is headlined by a major fight, as K-1 legend Peter Aerts faces Tyrone Spong in what is being billed as Aerts's final fight (though Glory also claims Aerts is part of their organization, so there is a bit of confusion here). Final fight or not, this is a great match-up as Aerts remains one of the world's top Heavyweight kickboxers, while Spong is one of its best younger talents. MMA fans are likely familiar with Spong for his work at Imperial Athletics, where he has been helping Rashad Evans improve his striking over the past year.

Also on the card are Daniel Ghita, Robin van Roosmalen, and an exciting It's Showtime world title clash between Andy Souwer and Chris Ngimbi, among many other fights.

Kickboxing shows can often be a pain to watch, but luckily, you've got some options for this one:
  • As always, It's Showtime is offering a live stream of the complete show at ShowtimeFights.com starting at the 12:00 p.m. ET start time. The stream costs 10 Euro, roughly $12.50 US. Click here to get set up.
  • HDNet will be airing the show live. However, they're actually just showing the second half of the show, which begins at 3:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m. PT. Would be nice to have the full thing, but obviously, this is better than nothing. Still, you won't see Souwer vs. Ngimbi here, so I lean towards the stream.
  • For fans in Canada, The Fight Network will be showing the full show live, again starting at 12 p.m. ET.

However you watch, be sure you join us here at Bloody Elbow during the show as we'll have a live discussion post running throughout the event.

Hope to see you here on Saturday!
