So the UFC just made headlines in Denmark for the first time.

All because of Anderson Silva's recent comments on the media call for UFC 148.

The biggest and most read tabloid in Denmark just plastered a picture of Anderson Silva onto the very top of their website. The headline reads: "I'll break his bones and remove his teeth".

This is a country whose media gives MMA no coverage at all, and where no MMA media exists. Even when Martin Kampmann is headlining, he doesn't even make the front page of the sports sections.

I know none of you care about the Danish media, the point I'm trying to make is that Anderson Silva choosing to actively promote an event pre-fight has gotten MMA to a place that it hasn't ever been in this country. So much for the decline of the UFC.
