UFC On FX: Guida Vs. Maynard - Live Results And Play-By-Play For Main Card

As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for UFC on FX 4. Our live coverage will start with the fights on the Facebook prelims (5 p.m. ET) through the Fuel TV prelims (6 p.m. ET) through the main card on FX (9 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.

This post will cover live results and thoughts for the main card.

Four fights make up the night's main card with the main event seeing lightweights Clay Guida and Gray Maynard square off in a very compelling fight. Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher hook it up one more time in what promises to be an action-packed affair. Brian Ebersole takes on TJ Waldburger and Ross Pearson takes on Cub Swanson to round out the card.

Ross Pearson vs. Cub Swanson - Round 1 - A lot of movement, a lot of punches, nothing really landing through the first minute. Pearson ducks under a Swanson punch ang gets a takedown. Swanson gets off the cage and lands a few knees before they separate. Pearson with a head kick that gets blocked. Swanson with a big shot and now an elbow. Big kick by Swanson lands hard and he slips to the mat so Pearson is on top landing some big punches. Now he lets him back up. Person can't get a takedown but now lands a nice two punch combo. Good round. 10-9 Swanson, I guess? Wouldn't argue if you had it for Pearson.

Round 2 - Swanson lands early, now Pearson landing back. They're goin' at it. A lot of wild strikes, Swanson with a flying knee, Pearson grabs his leg and gets the takedown. Swanson lands an upkick but Pearson is fine and is on top now landing heavy strikes. Pearson landing some nice shots from on top. Great body shots by Pearson. Swanson gets up. They're trading and Pearson is hurt and falls backward. Swanson with a few more punches and the fight is stopped. Cub Swanson wins by TKO, round 2.

Brian Ebersole vs. TJ Waldburger - Round 1 - Waldburger with a big punch and Ebersole drops! He's on top on the ground now, looking to land some strikes and find space for a submission. Now into full mount. Ebersole kind of spazzing out on bottom a bit. Ebersole gets out and Waldburger with a deep choke but Ebersole is able to escape despite turning purple.Ebersole with an elbow and a punch. Body kick and now Ebersole with some big shots and Waldburger comes back with a few of his own. Hard straight right by Waldburger. 10-9 Waldburger.

Round 2 - Waldburger coming out with good strikes and now hits a double leg. Ebersole is able to get his own takedown. Ebersole with a punch after escaping from an omoplata attempt. Quick transition to an armbar by Waldburger. Can't finish the armbar, now into a leglock, then into a triangle. Ebersole landing some very good punches and Waldburger locks up a triangle. Can't finish a reverse triangle after a transition. 10-9 Ebersole.

Round 3 - Waldburger with a nice combination of hard shots. Ebersole with a nice elbow in the clinch and one of his dumb cartwheel kicks. Ebersole with a takedown now and Waldburger continues looking for submissions. Waldburger has a triangle locked in but his legs give way. Waldburger almost takes the back but can't get it. Few big punches by Ebersole and that should cement the win.

Official Scorecards: 29-28 across the board. Brian Ebersole wins by unanimous decision.

Spencer Fisher vs. Sam Stout - Round 1 - Fisher is drilling him early, Stout trying to get off as well but Fisher doing better. Stout is really hesitant here, but now he lands a left hand. Stout gets a nice takedown with a little over two minutes left. Stout doing good work with elbows from the top. Fisher with a spinning backfist when they're on the feet at the end of the round. 10-9 Stout for the work on the ground.

Round 2 - FIsher with a nice right hand. Fisher is doing good work on the feet, Stout needs the takedown from the looks of it. Fisher is just stalking and throwing the better shots. Nice body shot by Stout now and that is a good idea. Stout finding a bit of rhythm as the round goes on. Stout with a good takedown right as the fight resumes after a low blow stoppage. That is enough to cement the round for him. 10-9 Stout.

Round 3 - They trade punches and Fisher with a weird backward spinning elbow thing. Now a hard punch by Fisher. Hard right from Fisher. Stout with another takedown. After a while they're back to the feet and Stout ands the better shots. 10-9 Stout.

Official scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Sam Stout wins by unanimous decision.

Clay Guida vs. Gray Maynard - Round 1 - Go figure, Guida is coming forward. guida is getting his shots in and avoiding punches in return by Maynard. Maynard is having trouble figuring out his timing here because of Guida's movement and style. It's a hard fight to type about. Guida lands another punch in the middle of a three punch combo, Maynard lands a jab of his own seconds later. Leg kick and then an overhand right by Guida. 10-9 Guida.

Round 2 - Maynard looking to work his jab a bit more. Quick two punch combo by Guida now. Nice overhand right by Guida. Maynard keeps stalking, but he isn't landing anything significant yet. Right hand by Guida gets in and a head kick but it's blocked. Maynard just misses a wild overhand right. Head kick lands for Guida and a few punches afterward. 10-9 Guida.

Round 3 - Maynard does land a nice punch early in the third now. Maynard gets frustrated when he can't land again and shoots and Guida avoids it with ease. Gray is pretty frustrated. Another Guida round. 10-9 Guida.

Round 4 - Guida with a short combination. Maynard clinches and lands a punch. Maynard lands another right hand. Guida with a left hook and a couple punches. Maynard with another right hand. Maynard gets a clinch and lands some hard knees and punches. Now he's taunting Guida and lets him punch him in the face a few times. Guida shoots, can't get the takedown and almost gets guillotined. 10-9 Maynard.

Round 5 - Maynard coming forward he lands some big punches. guida with a very hard combination of punches and kicks. Now it's Maynard with a big right hand. Guida gets a warning for timidity. Maynard tries for a takedown now but can't get it. Few knees to the body by Maynard. Maynard 10-9 makes it 48-47 Guida on my card.

Official Scorecards: 48-47 Maynard, 48-47 Guida, 48-47 Maynard. Gray Maynard wins by split decision.
