UFC 147: Silva vs. Franklin II - The Facts

The event is headlined by a catchweight bout between Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva and Rich "Ace" Franklin and can be seen on live on pay-per-view (PPV) in the United States and Canada.

1 – In his 35-fight MMA career, Rich Franklin has never lost two consecutive bouts.

2 – The last time Wanderlei Silva won two consecutive bouts was when he beat Ricardo Arona and Kazuyuki Fujita in 2005-2006.

3 – Sixteen of the 22 fighters on the UFC 147 fight card will be making their UFC debut.

4 – With 15 career wins each, Fabricio Werdum and Mike Russow each have 4 wins via (T)KO, 8 wins via submission and 3 wins via decision.

5 – UFC 147 will mark the third time since Aug. 2011 that the organization has held an event in the country of Brazil.

6 – With Daniel Sarafian injured and unable to compete at UFC 147, Sergio Moraes is the first fighter in the history of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show to step into the finals as an injury replacement.

7 – Wanderlei Silva will fight in his home country of Brazil for the first time since Aug. 12, 2000.
