UFC Middleweight Wanderlei Silva is coming off a KO win over Cung Le at UFC 139 but the 35-year-old still feels he's got a lot to prove. Silva faces old rival Rich Franklin in the headliner of next Saturday's UFC 147 which takes place in Brazil. Silva spoke to ESPN:
"I think I took one step away from that wall. I still need to prove I can fight.
"We'll need to look at the performance. I feel good. I hope to make a good fight that makes the boss and the fans happy.
"I'm more healthy now than I was at 22 years because I train and live a really good life. We are not like machines; we can't train as fast after years but I feel really happy and I want to give fans a good fight. When I can't do that anymore, I'll stop."
Silva was supposed to face Vitor Belfort at UFC 147 but his fellow The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil coach broke his hand a couple of weeks ago. Silva is dead set on getting his rematch against Belfort who beat him in under a minute in 1998.
