Alright guys (and gals), I’m in need of some help. I’m sure this post wont stay up to long, because it really doesn’t have much (if anything to do with MMA). I just moved into a new house, and I want to hang my new heavy bag in my unfinished basement. Now I know just about nothing when it comes to carpentry and stuff like that. I looked into buying a joist bracket, which is shaped almost in a U and gets screwed between two joists, but the joists in my house are 14 ½ inches apart, as compared to the standard 16". I haven’t been able to find a joist bracket to fit the 14 ½" distance. I don’t think that I want to just one of the brackets that goes around just one joist in the U shape, because that seems to be a lot less sturdy, and not as good for the house its self. But then again, I’m not to sure. Does anyone else have any ideas, that they know aren’t harmful to my house? Any products that could work? ANYTHING?! Thanks buddies PS: I don’t have the height/money for a heavy bag stand, so that won’t work either
