C.B. Dollaway defated Jason Miller by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-26, 29-28)
Jason "Mayhem" Miller had C.B. Dollaway hurt a couple of times with punches, but was unable to follow up on it and was completely controlled by Dollaway the rest of the time. Dollaway picked up a unanimous decision in their middleweight bout with scores of 29-28, 30-26, and 29-28. Dollaway spent much of the fight on top of Mayhem or against the cage, unwilling to give Mayhem any room to breathe. It certainly wasn't very exciting, but it got the job done.
Mayhem was doing some showboating early. Mayhem cracked Dollaway with a big looping right that stunned Dollaway and Miller locked up a guillotine. CB popped out though and eventually got a brief takedown. Mayhem gave him a noogie (seriously) in a headlock and Dollaway responded with a nice right. Mayhem landed a night right again, but it looked like his knee gave out on him and he fell to the mat. Dollaway tried to control his back but couldn't get much of anywhere. Dollaway finally looked for some sort of hammerlock, and used it to transition to mount. Miller arched and rolled over, allowing him to scoot up against the fence at the end of the round.
Miller was limping to start the second round. Dollaway landed a nice straight jab. Mayhem kept looking for the home run right but it wasn't there. And then it sort of was. Miller staggered Dollaway with the right and CB basically stumbled all the way across the cage. As soon as Mayhem went in for the kill though, Dollaway grabbed him and worked it against the fence. The crowd booed at their extended clinch battle. Mayham landed a nice knee up the middle finally. Miller looked for a choke and fell to his back but ate a couple of Dollaway elbows. Dollaway worked away on top for the rest of the round with some semi-effective ground and pound.
Miller came over the top with a looping right but Dollaway latched onto him and dragged him down agains the fence. Dollaway ended up on Mayhem's back after a while, but just basically laid on him. He occasionally landed some short shot's to Mayhem's face, but nothing really damaging. miller briefly got to his feet but was slammed back down. Dollaway finally sunk his hooks and opened up a little bit more with a steady stream of hammerfists to the side of the head. Mayhem was completely trapped and he was basically laughing off the punches, but he wasn't defending himself. Dollaway moved to mount, then back to side. The fight ended there with a whimper.
