When the promoter becomes bigger than fighters

Hi, everyone. Hope you are enjoying your day.
I'd like to draw some of your attention to a matter that I consider to be worth discussing and debating about.
I was watching 24/7 with Floyd and Cotto the other day, also, in the process I kept updated with MMA news, so I decided to write a post.
The main character of this post and the persona I'd like to talk about is Dana F. White.
I like Dana, and think he is purely a win in many ways, but here what bothers me, one time he is this smiling and positive personality who wouldn't hurt a fly, and all other time he's like a dude who's on big doses of Redbull, Testosterone supplements or maybe it has to do with his relationship with his Mom. As a person who digs psychology, I'd say it can be a major factor. So, anyway, my question is, how come the promoter is BIGGER than the fighters??? How come the promoter is bigger than the warriors who put their lives on line to be the best in the world?
He can easily go off at any fighter despite their achievements and roles in the sport. He can discredit fighters who are loved and treasured by fans. Those who gave us the most entertaining fights in history. Those who contributed the most. And this guy comes, and just spits at them, calls them names and etc. But that's not the major problem!
The major problem to me is that I started looking at fighters as at disposable material. Dana can threaten to fire them on TV, throw them under the bus, discredit their achievements without even blinking, making them look tiny. They are no one. Dana decides everything! Some fighters aren't even given credit they deserve, not included in UFC HoF.
He breaks down everything as if he was a fighter. He can go off at women, curse the shit out of them and everybody is ok with that. It just seems he erased that thing about fighters being warriors and big figures in the sport. In short, it's as if fighters became tiny pawns on his chessboard. Ok, by this point I'm already lost in my own considerations. But I hope you got the point. As I consider BE to be a very legit website with quite smart army of intelligent members, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you.
