The PPV is live. First fight up shortly!

Mark Bocek vs. John Alessio - Round 1 - Bocek shoots in quickly, looking for the single leg, now switches to the double but Alessio is able to get to his feet fairly quickly. Bocek staying tight, working hard for the takedown and knieeing the legs and now the head. Bocek drags him down with a takedown and gets it despite Alessio holding the cage. Good flurry of elbows by Bocek. Bocek just grinding away with elbows. Alessio does manage to get full guard back and eats a punch for his trouble. Big elbow to the mouth by Bocek. Just pounding awya with elbows and Alessio has very little to offer here. Bocek takes the back now and gets a hook in, Bocek has the back and a body triangle but time is running out. 10-9 Bocek.

Round 2 - They trade some leg kicks early in the rounds. Alessio lands a nice straight punch. Alessio doing okay in the stand-up now, gotta keep it here, not on the ground. As I type that, Bocek charges forward and gets the takedown. Bocek just grinding away again with elbows and punches. Alessio does manage to get to his feet eventually and lands a punch, but it feels like Bocek can get a takedown whenever he wants. Hard leg kick by Bocek. Bocek with the clinch now and landing a few knees. 10-9 Bocek.

Round 3 - Coaches imploring Alessio to get the knockout and he does come out and land a hard punch. Bocek with a powerful takedown and he has the back quickly. Alessio does get to his feet and somehow Bocek is bleeding from the face. Big right hand by Bocek. Another takedown by Bocek, Alessio gets back up though. I'd go 30-27 for Bocek.

Official Scorecards: 30-27, 29-28, 30-27 Mark Bocek wins by unanimous decision.

Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin - Round 1 - Yagin lands a huge uppercut after a slow start to the round and Hominick goes down. Yagin with some bigtime ground and pound but Hominick is able to survive and gets back to his feet eventually. Hard body shot by Hominick. Hominick looks better toward the end of the round with Yagin looking to fade. (sorry for the lack of details, laptop decided to shut down for no reason during the early part of the round) 10-9 Yagin.

Round 2 - Hard leg kicks by Yagin early in the round. Jab by Hominick and a body shot. Hominick pumps the jab and forces Yagin backward. Yagin lands and Hominick drops again. Yagin on top landing some ground and pound. Hominick survives again and on the feet he does fine, landing body punches, jabs and just working his game, but getting dropped is a big factor. Hard left to the body by Hominick. Yagin's face is a mess. 10-9 Yagin on the knockdown, but very close.

Round 3 - Yagin with a counter right that lands solidly. Good body shot by Hominick and now a combination up top. Hard right by Hominick and now he's working the jabs. Left hand by Hominick. Right hand by Hominick. Yagin is going slow here. Hominick just popping away with jabs while Yagin throws the world's slowest spinning backfist. Big right by Hominick and Yagin stumbles backward. Hominick trying to pour it on but Yagin fires back. Great combination by Hominick. Hominick with a few good punches as the fight ends. 10-9 Hominick but too little, too late in my eyes.

Official Scorecards: 29-28 Yagin, 29-28 Hominick, 29-28 Yagin. Eddie Yagin wins by split decision.

Miguel Torres vs. Michael McDonald - Round 1 - Torres coming out in his somewhat crouched stance. McDonald misses a punch. A lot of posturing for the first minute and not a lot of action of note. McDonald with a nice combination of power shots while Torres tries to slip them but does eat a few. Jab by Torres. Right hand by Torres. Another good flurry for McDonald. Good combination and Torres is out! Wow! Violent stuff! Michael McDonald wins by KO (punches), 3:18 of round 1.

Ben Rothwell vs. Brendan Schaub - Round 1 - They trade punches, Ben to the body, Schaub upstairs. Schaub with uppercuts in the clinch, Rothwell with a bit knee. Spinning elbow by Schaub looks like it hurts Ben, in the follow up it's Rothwell with a big uppercut and hook and Schaub goes down. Rothwell landing a few more huge shots and as he is pulled off Schaub flails upward "fighting the invisible man" as they call it. Ben Rothwell wins by TKO (punches), 1:10 of round 1.

Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills - Round 1 - Mills with some hard leg kicks early. Rory gets stung in the stand-up and he is forced to get the takedown to get out of the stand-up. Big right and a flurry of punches by MacDonald. Mills is bleeding and eating more punches. Mounted crucifix now and MacDonald is landing a lot of clean shots. Mills' face is a mess. MacDonald is just destroying him now. 10-8 MacDonald

Round 2 - Leg kick by MacDonald and a quick easy single leg. MacDonald pounding away. MacDonald had the mount, Mills gave up his back. MacDonald pouring on the punishment again and Mills has nothing. Back mount and Mills is flattened out and getting pounded and it's over. Rory MacDonald wins by TKO (punches), 2:20 of Round 2

Halfway through the first round and Rashad lands a short right. Jab by Jones lands hard. Big left by Jones gets in. Leg kick by Evans. Body kick doubled up by Jones, he looks crisp early. Evans still not quite figuring out the range of the fight. Leg kick by Evans, left hook by Jones. Right hand by Evans, body shot by Jones. Head kick by Jones and Jon is hurt. Interesting first round, 10-9 Jones, but that head kick was a serious moment. (Edit: Typo initially here said Evans won the round, meant to score it for Jones.)

Round 2 - A lot of the same early with Jones working his length well to start. Jones is stalking still. Superman punch by Jones misses, he flurries and misses so Rashad taunts a little bit. Jones misses with a kick, Evans crowds him but doesn't really go for the takedown. Leg kick by Evans. Head kick by Jones is blocked. Jabs traded by both men. Body shot by Rashad and again. Hard elbow by Jones. Good leg kick by Evans when Jones overextended. Head kick by Evans is blocked. Another good elbow, and again. Evans is stung a bit by those elbows. Good leg kick by Jones catches it and lands a punch. Another kick lands for Jones. Body shot by Evans. Jab by Evans. Things are slowing down a lot. Left hand by Jones. Leg kick by Jones. Evans almost gets caught in a choke, but eats a knee to the body. Right hand by Evans just misses. Jumping shoulder strikes in the clinch by Jones. Jones shoots and can't get the takedown. 10-9 Jones.

Round 5 - Rashad needs something huge here. Leg kick by Evans. Right hand by Jones, right hand returned by Evans. Right hand by Jones lands hard. Good punch and kick by Jones now. Evans misses a spinning backfist. Body kick and Jones pushes in to the clinch. Elbow by Jones in the clinch and they separate. 1:30 left. Jones trips Rashad to the mat but Evans is up quickly before taking punishment. Evans with a big right that misses. Kick is blocked. Jones pulls guard for some reason? Evans tries to throw some punches but can't do anything of substance before the round ends. 10-9 Jones for the sweep on my card.
