Grappler Darren Uyenoyama was looking to build on his big win over Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto at UFC on Fox 1, but it will have to wait a little bit longer. Uyenoyama is out with an injury, and a newcomer will take his place against John Dodson at UFC on Fox 3 next month. MMA Weekly has the info:
A change has been made to the UFC on Fox 3 card as Ultimate Fighter 14 winner John Dodson now faces newcomer Tim Elliott.
Sources close to the match-up confirmed the new bout to MMA Weekly on Tuesday.
Elliott (8-2-1) is currently on an eight-fight win streak after starting his career 0-2-1 in 2009. His last two wins have come over former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver and former EliteXC and M-1 fighter Josh Rave. Dodson (12-5) hasn't competed since defeating T.J. Dillishaw to win the bantamweight portion of The Ultimate Fighter 14 in August.
