Round 3 - Jacare with a quick takedown. Jacare keeps working the punches from top position before eventually locking up an arm triangle and getting the submission. Not the most competitive of bouts. Jacare Souza wins by submission (arm triangle), 2:43 of round 3.

The referee stands them up for lack of action. Noons with a heavy uppercut. Hard knee by KJ now. Thomson reaching for takedowns now. Noons landing hard punches now and Thomson just looking for the takedown and holds him against the cage again. I'm sure Thomson won the official cards there but I'd give it to Noons for looking to do more than hold the fight on the ground.
