Fresh off a win in his featherweight debut, Ross Pearson will return to the cage on June 22nd at UFC on FX 4 to face a Cub. Solid striking battle, anyone? John O'Regan of Fighters Only with the info:

Ross Pearson will meet Cub Swanson next.

The fight will take place at UFC on FX4 on June 22 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Pearson (13-5) dropped to 145 for the first time back at UFC 141 and picked up a solid decision win over Junior Assuncao. The Ultimate Fighter 9 winner had gone 4-2 at lightweight before that in the UFC. Swanson (16-5) competed eight times under the WEC banner (going 5-3) before moving over to the UFC. He didn't make his debut until November due to a facial fracture, and dropped his bout to Ricardo Lamas by submission. He rebounded nicely at UFC on Fox 2 though, stopping George Roop by TKO in the second round.

The card will be main evented by a five-round lightweight bout between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida. You can check out the current card below the jump.
