With March being a slow month for MMA, many of us are keeping our sporting options open. Of course there is March Madness and if you basketball is you thing, then by all means go nuts, but if you want to check out an off the beaten path martial sport, the NCAA Fencing Championships are going down this weekend in Columbus, Ohio. The Women's finals will take place today around 1:45 pm ET and the Men's finals will be on Sunday. The event features the top teams in the country including Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State and several Olympic hopefuls. I encourage you to check it out, if even for a few minutes, for a different kind of martial sport than the one we normally enjoy.
