Unfortunately, we here at Bloody Elbow have seen the departure of Matt Roth. Though he started rocky with us here at BE, I think it's safe to say that Cabbage grew on us. However, my favorite Cabbage moment doesn't come from his open letter or the trainyards joke. Rather, it was his "Best of BROCKLESNAR!!!!! WWE Moments." Reason being, because people thought that Roth was ruining MMA.

I've come here to say that the ruination of MMA must continue, and will explain why in a top 5 list.

Reason 1: Some of us came to MMA from Pro Wrestling.

Yes, I'm sure some don't like this fact, but it's there. Some folks were introduced the the most awesome sport in the history of ever because of fake violence. Some came over when Brock became an MMA star, and others simply loved the fact that "it's sorta like pro wrestling, but real!" That's certainly part of the appeal in Japan. As for myself, it was Ken Shamrock's rise to fame in WWE that got me interested in the UFC, and MMA as a whole later on.

Reason 2: It's funny to watch people get pissed about it.

Some of you who remember Roth's articles might remember this little gem of mine:

You and the rest of the OMG JUST BLEED RARR guys? It’s Brock Lesnar being awesome and evil. If you don’t like it, go watch a Jon Jones fight and leave the rest of us to have fun.

As it stands, the reactions of some people to pro wrestling references are downright hilarious. So, the piss must continue to be taken out of these guys.

Reason 3: BROCKLESNAR!!!!!!!

He's Brock Lesnar. I don't need to explain it.

Reason 4: Fuck You

Seriously. You and that Steve guy are jerks.

Reason 5: Because it's Bloody Elbow, and we like to have fun here.

We all like to make zany references here. Whether it's soccer, Da Bulls, Star Wars, Rumble Johnson's eating habits, or the WWE, we like to poke fun at stuff. There's quite a bit of material to go by, not to mention zany gifs like the one I posted above. Yeah, it's choreographed and scripted.
