Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz II will not happen, Diaz unable to compete
"*BREAKING NEWS* Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz II will NOT happen," Brian wrote. "An issue arose from Nick's camp last night. Nick will NOT be able to compete. I will not go into nature of why [Nick] Diaz can't compete in a rematch against Condit."
He added that Condit is still on his way to Las Vegas this week sign on for the unification bout with Georges St-Pierre.

depends if it's a post fight positive and he's suspended.
if he just went home after the fight and got blazed, he could easily get that out of his system in time.

Two thoughts came to mind: Diaz tested positive for you know what or Diaz got injured sometime in the midst of all this drama.

@cesargraciebjj is tweets get more and more open to the rematch each time. I think this is going to go down soon, especially with GSP out till November

I am completely consumed by this
I would love to see a rematch, and was so stoked when it was “announced” that it may happen. How are both guys going to adjust, will Diaz throw more combos? Will Carlos be more aggressive or will he try a similar strategy? Now im thinking Diaz may have pissed green again. Man this rematch is totally consuming me. What the hell is going on? I need to know

Based on how sluggish, confused, and un-coordinated
Diaz looked at the Weigh-ins, it really wouldn’t surprise me that much if he had been high the day before the fight.

E-mail from Keith Kizer of NSAC: “Thank you for the many email and phone calls. I am still waiting for all the steroid and drug test…”
(cont’d): … “results to come back. We did have at least one positive test. I will send out an email later today on that matter.”
That e-mail was regarding UFC 143. That’s all that was written. Stay tuned.
