Jon Jones vs. Chuck Liddell on UFC Undisputed 3. I hope this isn't CPU vs. CPU because I'd mark the game a failure just for the realism of the ending.

Chuck looking somewhat more ripped and jacked than I’ve ever seen…
No, you're not drunk. I am this good-looking.

Rock 'em sock 'em UFC bots.
The ground game looks bad. One guy moves while the other holds still and waits, yet they change positions every 3 seconds.
Share for share, share alike, you'll get struck each time I strike.
Basically I don't think there will ever be a truly realistic fighting game until it is full motion body control
Even then the ground game gets tricky. They will always look like robots as long as it’s on a console.
EA MMA looked better on the ground, at least.

But you had no control over how you progressed on the ground
The only way to get to back mount was to get to full mount first
Not to mention the ground and pound mechanics sucked ass. You could only throw elbows from the mount, couldn’t posture up in half guard, had no access to north south or the saliverry position, etc.
That game was so bare bones that it became redundant fast. The only way to have lasting fun with it was to sprawl and brawl in every fight, which is lame. It was pretty much Stand n Bang 2k10.

Why yes, sir!
Congratulations to you for pointing out that my subjective opinion is indeed objectively wrong! How lucky for me that you happened by! Do tell, what should my favorite color be? I’m afraid of making the wrong decision.

Actually, the way you framed your sentence didn't make it look like an objective opinion.
So you really need to chill. You can’t say “EA MMA looked better on the ground” and expect for no one to challenge that statement, because you’re presenting it as a subjective fact.
Fact is, you’re wrong on that statement, and you can’t backpedal going “IT’S JUST MY OPINION!” because you forgot what words mean.

Seriously?
It really should be obvious that because we’re talking about a video game and how I experience it, that a value judgement on quality will necessarily be a subjective opinion and not objective fact. Always, always, always. It’s absolutely impossible for anyone to prove under any circumstances that EA or Undisputed looked better than the other, because there’s zero basis for factual comparison.
Don’t give me, “Well you didn’t say it was just your opinion!” From my first comment down to this one, it’s really clear that I’m talking about how I feel about the game in an opinionated and subjective way. Saying “I disagree” makes sense, “You’re wrong” does not.

They could do it if they wanted to.
GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and going forward, are games made by Rockstar that use the technology cooked by Euphoria (I think that’s the name of the company) where the animations of the characters are all generated procedurally, on the fly, via preset patterns that the software then adapts depending on the situation.
Sooner or later they will make a fighting game with that stuff. But until someone decides to apply that tech to a fighting game, we all can do nothing but whine and just make do with this:

The Internets: Where there are no girls and men become children.
Proud Member of INEPT: 80% More IntellEgent than y'all, WANKERZ.
Draft #: 69--The magic number.
It's quite obvious the people who play the game are interested in KTFOs
not intricacies of the sport.

Mostly
I actually like building guys with terrible power but a lot of technical skills and trying to actually ligitimately strike… even plinking my way to decisions or tkos … whipping haymakers and headkicks every 2 seconds and getting KTFOs halfway through the 1st EVERYTIME isn’t fun. I at least …try
dont even both with the ground game, just isn’t developed enough for anything other than GnP
I Bleed Blue and Green
At least when you try out Phil Davis
It’ll be realistic enough.

I see what you did there...
Think Leonard will be programmed to wing sloppy punches? Or will he be tightened up for the game’s sake?
Jon Fitch via Decision
They programmed Leonard to win by split decision
Even before you start the game.

The submission system is ridiculously stupid
I hate cat and mouse games and what this does is take away the realism of an instant sub. Instead this wheel system literally takes 5 seconds at a minimum to get done.

Not true
In the demo, I’ve nailed Jon Jones in a triangle with Silva within two seconds, and secured a RNC on him when he was rocked very quickly.
This time around, it’s actually possible to sub someone without having to break their damn ribs first.

Jones has had 4 fights since this was made
also chandella looks even worse
and chuck’s chin has been reinforced
How can Jon Jones have four fights since next week?
The game hasn’t been released yet.
As for Chuck’s chin, chances are they’re going to give retired fighters stats from their prime. In 2010 you could KO Chuck pretty easily.

Chuck wasn’t following the game plan in the 1st round. The game plan was leg kicks.

But the combat is pretty mediocre.
