GSP Willing To Give Up His Title To Skip Condit And Fight Diaz?
According to his teammate Kenny Florian that is what he said…
"It’s interesting actually. At dinner after UFC 143 Georges said that he wants to fight Diaz so bad that he would be willing to give up his belt just so he can fight Diaz and then he would fight Condit, this is how bad he wants to fight Diaz."

"A belt only covers two inches of your ****and the rest you need to back up on your own." Royce Gracie (allegedly...I just read it somewhere and thought it was cool for my sig!)
the most dominanat WW champ of all time.....

I think it's a good idea for everyone
GSP, Diaz, and the UFC all make mad money on that dream fight. It’s easy to sell as a warmup fight after coming back from major knee surgery (Mir was only out a little bit longer after his accident and surgery, and he fought Marcio Cruz upon his return).
Whoever Condit fights next will be a solid main event, as it’s a title fight, and it will be much more competitive than Condit-GSP. If he defends and emerges as a true force, it will be a huge fight when he fights the GSP-Diaz winner.
GSP’s reputation gets saved as he won’t be fighting someone with no intention of winning, like his last three opponents, or a backpedaler, like Condit has proven himself willing to be (“boring” fight potential went way up after Condit’s recent performance).
The only complication I can see is how the records books will treat his WW consecutive defense streak.
