Very solid, in my opinion.
You absolutely avoided the one thing that irks me about 95% of all fan-made promos.
A long running time.
A ‘promo’ or ‘trailer’ shouldn’t be much longer than 3 minutes. Movie trailers usually max out at 3 minutes.
When I see fan-made trailers for fights, and they run like 4-5 minutes or more…I usually won’t even click…they are sort of breaking the golden rule of what a promo is.
Your’s was very solid, in my opinion.

Thanks a lot!
Yeah I agree with you on that one. Long promos sort of “drag on”.
Anyways….
I’m trying to become more known for MMA promos,
so can you please try to spread this video around for me?
(Via Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
You don’t have to do this, but I simply believe that my videos are somewhat better than others,
but don’t receive nearly as many views as them.
Thanks again!

Very professional promo
I would imagine if a casual MMA saw this they would be fooled into thinking it was an official promo (except for the end where you credit yourself obviously).
The only bit I would say needs a slight a adjustment is a few seconds into the promo (0:08) it just sounds slightly too obvious that you’ve spliced audio together from Goldberg & Rogan saying the fighters names during fights/walk outs. Perhaps it might have been better to use audio of Buffer in this scene as he says fighter names with exactly the same inflection each time.
Also there seemed to be a slight problem with the framerate when the promo cuts between fight highlights, but I have no idea if this is problem with the original file or just youtube, I don’t know I’m not a filmmaker.
Anyway, very minor criticisms, but great promo, keep it up. Maybe for the next card you could perhaps create a promo with a slightly different feel to it? One with a more subdued feel than the standard UFC ‘epic’ feel (Maybe Boards of Canada or something similar might be appropriate music?). Anyway, as I said before, just minor things I thought might help, great work.
Thanks for the advice!
Yes I have to admit that myself.
I thought that viewers wouldn’t notice the cut up audio.
I guess I was wrong. I’ll make sure that my next promo won’t have the same mistake.
Yeah I think it’s the original file. I use iMovie, so I don’t have access to many advanced options.
I’ll try to use different songs, depending on what emotion I want to create.
Sorry about these mistakes. This is only my second MMA Promo.
I hope that I’ll improve in the future.
I really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks again!
