Yeah he's really getting animated there.
I love when he shows that side.

INEPT coming for the season 2 BECW title.
Absolutely.
A lot of people knock the guy, but you can’t deny he is passionate about the sport. MMA would not be anywhere near the level it is today without Dana White’s input.

The world became a less amazing place on June 18 2011, with the death of Clarence Clemons. R.I.P. Big Man, you will be sorely missed.

And rice. A lot of.
That WWE mindset that the Japanese fans had was a detriment for a lot of fighters fighting in freak show matches where they were fighting opponents bigger or much bigger then themselves like Sakuraba/Wandy and Nog/Sapp.
Saku and Wand were in the same weight category

no way, that's crazy talk
Saku is a natural WW and always fought up weight…he has never weighed 205. He also wasn’t a HW when he fought Cro Cop or Vovchanchyn.

He fought Wanderlei for the PRIDE Middleweight Championship.
Ergo they were in the same weight class.

Pride FC's middleweight division limited competitors to 205 lb (93 kg)
Ergo, it’s still crazy talk

If a fighter signs to fight in a given weight class
Then that’s his weight class. Fedor isn’t a light heavyweight just because he could probably make 205.

C'mon now, you can't fool me and you shouldn't fool yourself
The original point of this thread was

Just look at his losses and you’ll understand that nearly all of them are against heavier fighters.
Saku fought up weight because it was a challenge, but it doesn’t change the fact that he was still fighting UP weight. Gracie fighting Pardoel or Severn didn’t magically make him a HW for his entire career, he didn’t fight Matt Hughes at HW. And Saku didn’t fight Cabral at HW or LHW either, so the fact is he fought up weight when he was in Pride. Saku fighting guys like Wand, Rampage, & Cro Cop made him a legend, but also seriously hurt the longevity of his career.

You can't read
I said this:
Saku and Wand were in the same weight category
That was true. Pride only had weight classes for title fights and Grand Prix; Saku and Wandy was a title fight, ergo they were in the same class. I said absolutely nothing about any other Sakuraba fight.

i wonder when Dana will bash assault One FC
I am willing to test myself against the toughest fighters in the world, in front of hundreds of thousands or even millions of fans, over and over again. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, but I always come to fight. I've been doing this for the past fourteen years, and I have at least a few more strong years left in me. What have you done in the past fourteen years other than act like a moron on this forum and hang on Anderson's nuts? - Dan Henderson.
