Jones & Evans all over again?
Granted, this is premature, but could we be in for another Jones & Evans scenario?
With Condit winning on the weekend the intention would be for him to fight GSP at some stage to determine the true welterweight champion.
My memory isn't what it used to be, but aren't they both fighting out of Greg Jackson's camp? Could there be an issue with these two Jackson fighters fighting each other?
Or is the MMA world past that now, sick of hearing about the Jones/Evans situation, and everyone is a professional?
Thoughts please.

Jackson said in a Sherdog interview that he will neither corner nor train GSP or Condit. He said something about the other coaches taking care of that though. So I think WInkeljohn might corner Condit then.

Jackson = no.
Winklejohn = yes.

I don't see GSP or Condit getting into an unprofessional tantrum over this
They don’t seem like people who take things personally. Certainly not the way Evan’s did.
GSP isn't really a Jackson fighter
He hasn’t trained there in a long time to my understanding.
He spends most of his time at Tristar. He has some kind of contractual obligation to have Greg in his corner.
You will not see a Jones/Suga-esque quarrel.

As far as I understood, Jackson does the gameplanning and is the head coach for the fights. Everything else, regular training etc. is done at Tri Star like you pointed out.

They've met
but never trained at Jackson’s at the same time

Firas Zahabi is 'nuff for the GSP
I am willing to test myself against the toughest fighters in the world, in front of hundreds of thousands or even millions of fans, over and over again. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, but I always come to fight. I've been doing this for the past fourteen years, and I have at least a few more strong years left in me. What have you done in the past fourteen years other than act like a moron on this forum and hang on Anderson's nuts? - Dan Henderson.
