UFC On Fuel Fight Card: Sanchez Vs. Ellenberger
Fuel has added a lot of customers lately, and will likely add a few more in advance of the first full card on the network. The main event sees rising star Jake Ellenberger taking on the always-tough Diego Sanchez. Two big heavyweight bouts make up the remainder of the main card at the moment, along with a middleweight bout between prospect Ronny Markes and Aaron Simpson. Here's the current card (undercard after the jump):

Main event winner should get an interim title shot.

The Dillashaw fight IS on the main card. They’re showing five fights. Word!
Quick Question
Who will actually be able to watch this?

Not I.
thanks to small city owned cable company. when I went in and asked if they’d add FUEL and explained that they show UFC programming, the lady behind the counter shook her head in disgust and said “I don’t watch that stuff.” I’m pretty sure she meant fuck you, we aren’t adding that channel.

if the fight goes the distance, deigo will get the W, no way a jackson’s fighter losing the points game.
First off, stop.
Second, Diego is by no means a point fighter. He’ll follow gameplans, but usually that gameplan uses his ridiculous aggressiveness, energy, and heart. You can make fun of Diego all damn day (I know I do) but he comes to fight.

i dont really see winning by points as a bad thing, unlike a lot of other people here, i think of it as a sport first and a form of entertainment second, so i dont really have problems with guys who go out there to win via points, that said i scored his last fight for kampmann, so i guess im still a little bitter about it.

rory needs more wins.....
to earn contender status, no way they will offer him the interim champ. its either the winner of jake/deigo or hendricks or wait for GSP.
I think Rory would win the rematch as well.

Come on Diego
Where is the beast you used to be? Sanchez is my favorite fighter and I think this is the most worried Ive been for one of his fights. I was delusional enough to think he had a chance against BJ. This is a really bad match up for him in his current state as a fighter. He just hasn’t looked like the killer he was coming out of TUF except for the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the Paulo Thiago fight.

Lets go Jake
Also, I am pretty sure Pee Wee should win and his fight vs. struve is going be KO of the night.
Fighting is like champagne. It goes to the heads of cowards as quickly as of heroes. Any fool can be brave on a battlefield when it's be brave or else be killed.
