A pioneer of the lighter weights will step into the octagon once again at on May 15th. 3Jeff Curran, a 14 year veteran of the sport, has put off retirement for another day and will meet a Brazilian foe with 15 years of MMA experience. UFC.com has the info:
The 34-year-old Curran made it back to the UFC after a seven year absence at UFC 137, but fell to Scott Jorgensen by unanimous decision. He is a veteran of nearly every MMA organization known to man, and is the cousin and trainer of Bellator featherweight Pat Curran. Eduardo made his debut in the organization at UFC 134, but dropped a decision to Raphael Assuncao. That snapped an 11-fight winning streak for the Nova Uniao member. The bout is expected to take place on the preliminary card.
