More interesting news coming out of the Asian MMA scene, as officials from ONE Fighting Championship have announced that Japanese star Tatsuya Kawajiri is set to compete at ONE FC 3 in Singapore.
Kawajiri has long been at the top of the lightweight rankings, but decided to drop down to featherweight late last year, gaining 2 impressive submission wins over Joachim Hansen and Kazuyuki Miyata. As of this writing, no opponent has been named to face the 'Crusher', who will be looking to stay undefeated since making the cut.
The signing is part of that on-going partnership between DREAM and ONE FC, and is a welcome addition to a card that has just lost Babalu Sobral, who recently dropped off his scheduled bout against Melvin Manhoef.
