Is there a minimum word requirement for a fanpost cause this isn't gonna be long. Just an intriguing aspect of this fight that I think is being overlooked.
Last WEC Light Weight Champ Pettis--> loses lineal WEC belt to Clay Guida--> loses lineal WEC belt to Ben Henderson--> Ben Henderson fights Frankie Edgar for UFC LW championship and to defend the lineal WEC LW championship.
People kind of forgot about the unification once Pettis lost and Edgar had to fight Maynard again but it's still pretty cool even if it took a little longer.
