@DaveFarra updates:

Presser starts for : Dana says the card starts at 930a Japanese time. Dana says he loves Japan, it's great to be back.

Dana: Get ready Japan. This will be the most exciting live sporting event you've ever seen.

Dana: If I get booed (for not being very popular over here).... I can take some boos, but we didn't kill Pride. I respected Pride.

Rampage: I'm here relaxed. I don't get nervous until the day of the fight. I'm just glad to be in Japan.

Akiyama: I feel that Japan is in trouble now (due to earthquake). We want to put on good fights to cheer up Japanese people.

Rampage: In Japan I'm "incog-negro." The fans only recognize me when I'm wearing camo here. I blend in with all the other black folks here..

Jake Shields: This is my 7th time in Japan. I'm familiar, and I'm well prepared for Akiyama

Frankie: the more I keep winning, the more respect I will get. Ben is a solid contender, I will have my hands full.

Bader: this is kinda surreal being here, but Rampage is just another name. Another guy across the cage from me.

Dana: This is a great card, 7 fights on pay per view. Probably the most stacked card of the year.

Dana: Okami has been one of my favorite fighters for a long time. He deserves to be on the main card. He's one of the best.

Frankie: I wasn't surprised to see the WEC guys doing well in the UFC. I am excited to be fighting a new opponent, finally (after rematches)

Dana: Frankie is the ONLY fighter in UFC history to come back from 3 knock downs (against Maynard) and knock his opponent out

Dana: I don't know what happens to Akiyama and Gomi if they lose. It's a good question.

Akiyama on fighting at 170: I was a little worried at beginning of cut but I have no worries now.

Frankie: I want to stop being in such knock down battles, I don't like getting hit so much. Makes the after party suck.

Benson: The Japanese fans do a great job appreciating MMA. The subtle techniques. (everyone else: ditto)

Dana: we may use a Japanese ring girl this weekend.

Bader on first fight in Japan: this is cool, but it's business. I'll soak it in after the fight.

Dana: Japanese ring girl we are thinkin about hiring is Miss Japan. I think we're going to make that happen.

Rampage: I really respect how Japanese fans treat the fighters, but I have no idea why the fans are quiet when we fight, but I like it.

Rampage: I've lost a lot of fights because I wanted to put on a great fight for the fans. I'm doing that again, fighting like I'm 25 again.

Dana: Im curious if the event will be quiet here (like it has been for past MMA) or if it will be loud like everywhere else in world for UFC

Dana: I didn't kill Pride. Not true. They are the only other organization I have ever respected.
