Cool.
I’ve always been curious to see Mirko’s grappling.
Reppin' the 202 for The Voice's in Paul Harris' Head. BECW Season 12.

He looks strong and seems like it would almost hurt grappling with him. Some people just have that wirey strength and that’s what crop looks like. Barry seems stronger but soft, he’s improved a lot, that roll into the knee bar was really good and he caught cro cop in it where it looked like it would be very hard to hold, although he did not finish it.
Seriously don't take me serious. Seriously....
I thought Barry looked terrible. Tons of beginner mistakes. Certainly not what a UFC fighter who is supposedly spending a ton of time on the ground game should look like.
I don't think Barry is in Croatia to help Mirko with his striking,
I think Crocop brought Pat up for a grappling intervention. Who better to teach Barry the ways of defensive grappling for a sharp kickboxer? Mirko practically wrote the book.

Unless I'm missing someone obvious
He is easily the greatest MMA fighter to cross over from kickboxing.

He definitely is.
Went from the upper echelon of K-1 to the upper echelon of MMA. He really must’ve killed himself to learn effective takedown defense and defensive ground fighting. And that was back when latching onto your opponent and fishing for a standup actually worked.
