Video: Darth Vader And Stormtroopers Look On As George Lucas' Daughter Wins MMA Title
A few years ago, even the most hardcore Star Wars fans would never have guessed that George Lucas' daughter would eventually move from making cameos on her father's movies, to busting heads and winning MMA championships.
That's exactly what happened though, as Amanda Lucas won her fourth straight bout this past weekend, submitting MMA vet and professional wrestler, Yumiko Hotta by key lock on the third round of their DEEP 57 bout.
With the victory, the daughter of the Star Wars creator took home her first Mixed Martial Arts title by claiming the DEEP Women's Open-Weight Championship.
"I've won a couple of grappling tournaments, but nothing compares to this. This is the biggest honor, and something I worked really hard for," Lucas said. "This is probably one of the best moments of my life."
After the jump, you can check out footage of the entire fight, along with an emotional Amanda Lucas celebrating her win in Japan with Darth Vader and a group of Stormtroopers.

You can skip to the 15:10 mark to watch the finish and see her celebrate with Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers.
Also on the DEEP card, Mizuto Hirota defended his lightweight championship against Seichi Ikemoto, and Yoshiro Maeda won the rematch against Takafumi Otsaka, choking him out in the 2nd round and claiming his DEEP bantamweight title in the process.
UFC Veteran Akihiro Gono also dropped his 2nd straight bout, losing a decision to Daisuke Nakamura.

Kind of impressed she's doing MMA
If I were her I’d be sponging off my incredibly rich father instead.
Color me unimpressed.
Women’s MMA in Japan is the weakest division in the sport.
Not to mention, Lucas’ strength of competition has been terrible. All of her opponents average out at a 12-13 record if you leave out Mika Harigai’s horrendous 6-25 record. She got a title by beating up cans and journeymen.

She has 5 fights...
Should she be fighting cyborg? She’s facing off with equal level competition in a shallow pool of talent and is finding successful. That should be applauded. I must have missed the blog post where she preclaimed herself the best fighter in the world, because I’m pretty sure she’s just trying to do her thing. Hater.

I've seen some of her fights, and...
And even tho the level of competition isn’t exactly high, she has been through some wars in the ring, she may not be a Cyborg, but she is no less badass, because of that.
The fact that she will be paid in full eventually but is still down to PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT
makes me a fan

I read she was like 156...
but that she wants to cut down to 145. Would be cool to see her in Strikeforce if she can do that.

That's pretty cool
Also, I can’t believe they are charging people to see Episode 1 again. That is just cruel.
