Charles "do Bronx" Oliveira awarded black belt.

Gracie Mag sent out a tweet that yesterday that Oliveira had been awarded his black belt by his instructor Erickson Cardoso and Jorge Patino "Macaco".

The promotion comes after Oliviera winning Submission of the Night honors at UFC on Fox 2.

That’s the norm now, the red band no longer truly designates “instructor”. Odds are though that he’s probably taught a few classes in his time.
