Just ain't the same without Rogan

Stay connected for news and updates

UFC on Fuel 1 was success on many fronts including quality fights, a roaring crowd, and solid production. However, I have to admit, UFC events on TV simply do not have the same "magic" without Joe Rogan's overexcited yelling. I miss his constant hyperbole, his thinly veiled drug/sex references, and his un-containable fanhood. As has already been stated by many, the Jon Anik-Kenny Florian combination leaves much to be desired. Their voices are so similar in pitch and cadence that many times it is very difficult to distinguish whom is speaking.

I actually like Anik for many reasons, and believe him to be a better play-by-play announcer than Goldberg, but he is suffering from his being paired with Florian. Kenny makes a better desk analyst and "go-to expert" for short shots or explanations of technique.

Would you like to see the UFC try Jon Anik and Joe Rogan together?

What (if any) are your arguments for Goldberg being better or worse than Anik?
