Not long ago he dropped three straight and was cut from Strikeforce. Beating Ishii and Monson didn’t exactly increase his stock.

I never said Fedor “didn’t belong.” I just suggested that it may not be that big of a deal. I can’t see him being a top 10 contender again.

Fedor vs Cain, who wins? Honestly. Cain doesn’t have the ground game to sub Fedor, doesn’t hit like a Mack truck and he’s not 290 pounds either… Cain might be a tad quicker than Fedor at this point, but it’s an interesting fight nonetheless. I think Fedor can win against a few top 10 fighters.

exactly i cant believe im even agreeing with you disco but seriously. look its not a huge deal with he’s signed now and plus just no he’s not beating cain velasquez maybe if you id the rematch with werdum or maybe big country but i just have to see it to believe fedor can hang with the top 10 especially the former champ

Is Velasquez really that much bigger than Fedor? I mean, they’re both in the 230lbs range, aren’t they? Both about 6’1. Both have a bit of fat around the waste. I don’t know. Fedor’s a pretty strong dude.
Velasquez isn't a big heavyweight by any stretch
But if Fedor was in shape he’d very much look like a normal sized light heavyweight, and Cain would look more like a very big light heavyweight.

didn't Cain weigh in at 249 against Junior?
Last time i checked Fedor walks around 225lbs 230lbs at the most, so i mean there is a nice 20 pound difference between them

My 2 cents.
We don’t know who will win.
No one knew that JDS would make very short work of Velasquez BUT go the distance with Roy Nelson or Shane Carwin.
No one could really predict that Brock Lesnar would submit Carwin.
Henderson stops Fedor at HW but loses to Jake Shields at MW after dropping 2 H-Bombs on him???

I don’t believe Cain would not have survived the shots that Hendo had to take from Fedor before he landed his own shots… Then again, Cain is much faster than Hendo (understatement of the year, I know), so maybe Fedor doesn’t even land these on Cain.
But still… I think that Fedor has a better chance at beating Cain than he does Overeem or JDS.
nah im pretty sure its fedor being signed for to fight overeem for the title who cares about anything else
The lineal title
Began with the original UFC heavyweight title, and going from fighter to fighter until it felll to the waste of Overeem when he defeated Werdum.
Also, Strikeforce title, Dream title, lineal Pride title, lineal EliteXC title, lineal IFL title, lineal WAMMA title…
Us folks ‘in the know’ just like to refer to it as the Reem title.
