Credit to me because ZP slacked off this week. Video can be watched here.
Finally. Playoff time. For 8 teams, this is a joyous occasion; for the other 4, an unfortunate reminder that they've let themselves and their families down. This is going to be a stressful night for all teams, as four more of them will have their hopes of being BECW4 Grand Prix champs crushed, and 2 of the Bland Prix participants will be one step closer to becoming the soon-to-be-infamous, first annual Keith R. Campbell Memorial Ragequit Trophy holders. With the main event being the hot bout, some match-ups may not even be decided until the very end.
As for the card itself, it's glorious, mainly because of Rory Mac facing everyone's favorite lazy yet talented, lovably chunky Hawaiian, and the main event between two fighters who are pretty incapable of having a boring fight. Shogun will attempt to give Pride fanboys one last hurrah, Swick continues to try to get a successful UFC run going after two and a half years of only appearing on the side of milk cartons, and the Thugjitsu master has his 183rd fight in the sport. Here's how the whole card should break down but there's still plenty of time for someone else to get injured, arrested, or pull a Karo (There is a Diaz brother fighting, after all).

(LeVesseur vs. Trujillo will not be counted for the BECW)
BECW4 Grand Prix Bracket
Tonight's BECW4 Bland Prix Schedule
Horselover's Fucked For Free (3-4) vs. discoandherpes' The Dogcunt Sklarts (2-5)
benten20's Buttertooth Brits (3-4) vs. Tim Bernier's The Team That Wars (1-6)
There really isn't a whole lot to include into this post, and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of you don't even read through them anyways. Here's my mock bracket for the playoffs so that Horsey and Spam continue to believe in the facade that I actually do something as one of the commissioners.
You're definitely going to want to open that in a new tab or something. Unless, you're on my team, in which case, don't look at it. And please try to refrain from attempting to give yourself fellatio upon seeing it, Chris Jones.
Here's how the picks break down on Playground as of 12:30 EST today, because I still have no idea what info to include in this post to make it look like I did something. First percentage is our fight camp, 2nd is PG as a whole.
- 62% Bendo, 64% Bendo
- 83% Gustaf, 64% Gustaf
- 74% Rory, 73% Rory
- 89% Ramsey, 68% Ramsey
- 75% Cruickshank, 73% Cruickshank
- 85% Swick, 82% Swick
- 95% Scotty, 92% Scotty
- 92% Siver, 84% Siver
- 90% Easton, 87% Easton
- 57% Stevenson, 71% Stevenson
There's a lot of one-sided predictions so picking the correct finishing method will be more important than usual for those bouts. If the hot bout were decided based only on our fight camp, it would be Yves Edwards vs. Jeremy Stephens rather than the main event. Lots of love for the Thugjitsu master here. I wish I had the faith that you guys do. Proctor's family also appears to be the only ones picking him to win tonight. Poor guy. We've seen crazier stuff happen since the BECW started though, so don't count him out.
Here's the recap from the last event if you want to see how the players on your opposing team have performed throughout the season, or anything like that.
Try to post the links to images/gifs if you insist on sharing them with us rather than embedding them, for the sake of people with third-world internet connections or shitty PCs. Same site rules apply here as they would on a front page article, so please don't discuss anything cooking-related. Don't ruin it for the rest of us. And make your own lets mutherfukers image this time. I'm tired of the meme.
