Bibiano Fernandes quickly choked Yoshiro Maeda unconscious at DREAM 18. Here are results and gifs.

On one of the most highly anticipated bouts of the merged DREAM 18 and GLORY 4 cards for NYE, top ranked Bantamweight fighter, Bibiano Fernandes took on Yoshiro Maeda.
After a brief feeling out period on the opening round, Fernandes was able to secure a takedown, then explode, and immediately get the back of Maeda. A few more entertaining scrambles later, and it was Fernandes who locked in a beautiful triangle choke.
Maeda tried to power out and slam Bibiano, but it didnt help, and a few seconds later, the choke gets tighter and the Japanese fighter gets put to sleep. It was another quick and very impressive victory for the DREAM champion and ONE FC star.
Fernandes, who has made a career in Asia, took the mic after saying "I hope everybody enjoyed. I love Japan. Japan is my second home."
