In the first round of his brutal UFC 155 loss to Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos ate an enormous right hand to the jaw that left him. In the second Cain hit him again in the jaw and broke the bone. Incredibly dos Santos kept fighting for three more rounds, eating punch after punch to the jaw.

Unbelievably, dos Santos stayed in the fight and just kept coming. He even stunned Cain a couple of times with uppercuts in combination with body punches as well as several nasty back elbows. Dos Santos will likely be enduring a lengthy medical suspension following the loss of the fight and the title.

Update by Tim Burke: According to Paula Sack at the post-fight press conference, JDS did not suffer a broken jaw after. He went to the hospital, but tests came back negative.
