Eugene S. Robinson talks to Leopoldo Serao about King Mo Lawal's training at Floyd Mayweather's gym for his Bellator debut in this episode of Knuckle Up!
KNUCKLE UP man-of-the-hour and host EUGENE S. ROBINSON is back in pocket and in semi-fine fettle as he tilts at ROUND #491 from the good ol' U.S. of A. and digs deep into the soft tissue of Friend of Knuckle Up [FOKU, pronounced FUK-U] JOSE PALACIOS championship win at WKA in NY and gets TEAM SERAO team leader LEOPOLDO SERAO to hold forth on his recent win at the IBJJF Open Invitational, as well as his time in Vegas at MAYWEATHER's helping to train KING MO LAWAL for his upcoming bow at BFC #86, which also marks his return to fighting from a drug suspension. Serao also chats about ROY NELSON's "alleged" fatness, pro boxing, and King Mo's chances against his very tough Polish opponent whose name is mystifyingly unpronounceable [Przemyslaw Mysiala].
B-side this with Robinson's fevered take on all and sundry connected to the fight game and you have a show worth savoring. From your jail cell. Or wherever you watch the show from. Oh, and speaking of jail cells: a special shout goes out to RENZO GRACIE fighter/black belt HARLEY FLANAGAN for having the legal case against him dismissed in NY. Great all time quote and apropos for fighters everywhere: "the only thing I was ever guilty of was defending myself."
Eugene S. Robinson host of Knuckle Up and author of Fight: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Ass-Kicking but Were Afraid You'd Get Your Ass Kicked for Asking [Harper Collins], as well as A Long Slow Screw is bad. And nationwide. With only occasional international forays. Where he is also bad.
KNUCKLE UP! [Free t-shirts to anyone caught on video screaming this while they're being arrested!!!]
It's a sunny ride through a shady place. Enjoy.
