Big Country baits Mitrione into a brawl that led to Meathead unconscious on the mat.

Heavyweights Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione stepped into the Octagon for the main event off The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale. "Big Country" Nelson was the coach of the show's winner Colton Smith who won the tournament in the previous fight. Mitrione was a late notice injury replacement for Shane Carwin who coached opposite of roy.

Roy opened up the fight hunting for his predictable but effective overhand right. Mitrione stayed on the outside to avoid the big punch. Roy clinched up but was eventually reversed by Matt. Mitrione pushed off and the two big men stood toe to toe trading bombs. Mitrione abandoned his movement and footwork and was caught by a big combo from Roy that put him to sleep. Roy Nelson knocked out Matt Mitrion at 2:58 of the first round.
