UFC On FX 6 post-fight press conference

After an exciting night of fights, check out the UFC On FX 6 post-fight press conference.

Friday night's UFC On FX 6 capped off the second international season of The Ultimate Fighter in TUF: The Smashes. In the main event, UK coach Ross Pearson used his superior striking and takedown defense to counter the vaunted submission game of the Aussies George Sotiropoulos.

The event also crowned two new Ultimate Fighters in Norman Parke and Robert Whittaker. Parke won the Lightweight final by using his Judo black belt to get the taller Colin Fletcher down and stifle him with top control. After three rounds he took the decision on all three judges cards. Whittaker also won by unanimous decision, but instead of taking it to the ground he outstruck Bradley Scott on the feet.

The other big fight of the night featured Middleweights Hector Lombard and Rousimar Palhares. Throughout the 3.5 minute fight, Lombard used his Olympic level Judo background to keep the fight on the feet. His plodding footwork paid off this time allowing him to rock and finish Palhares with big punches.
